CAREER OPPORTUNITIES FOR FOOD TECHNOLOGISTS

Today we are discussing about the career opportunities for Food Science & Technology or Food Science  & Nutrition students, whoever want to make career in their own field. Food Science & Technology is a growing stream in today's time. It's having more opportunities of promising career in Government, Private and others sectors as well.


Career for bachelor's students 

Food tech Graduate either Bachelor's in Technology or Bachelor's in Science can start their journey from summer and winter internship in any Food related industries, quality laboratories or dissertation for the duration of 1-6 months. It will help students to utilize their  theoretical and practical knowledge, skills, abilities working in an industries where he can gain exposure to the new environment. Being sourceful, innovative and flexible towards new learning.

After completion of Bachelor's degree he/she can join any industry or quality laboratories as a fresher. Working there, keep on learning, implementing  knowledge, concepts and technology. Quality analysis, production processes, various equipments, instruments handling and reports and documentation. 


Prepaparation of govt jobs

After the compltetion of Bachelor's one can prepare for govt. jobs as there are good chances to get a govt job easily. Start your journey for competitive exams. They can prepare for state level govt jobs or central level govt. jobs like SSC, Banking, Indian railways and many more. Or can go for higher studies 


Career opportunities After Master's 

As discussed earlier one can join food industry,  or can go for Food related competitive exams like FSSAI CFSO, T.O, State Food Safety Officer, CGPDTM Patents Officer, UPSSSC Junior Food Analyst, Food Scientists, Nutritionist, Health Officer and other departmental jobs. Students seeking for Doctorate degree can prepare for UGC NET, SET, ICAR SRF. How to prepare for NET/JRF/SRF/SET you can go through my blogs. After qualification of NET/JRF you will be eligible for Assistant Professor, you can join any college or University as per your convenience. You can join private jobs like subject matter expert or teaching experts of your domains. 


Journey towards Doctorate degree 

After NET/JRF interested student can enrol for PhD and start their Doctorate journey. Start working for your research and development.
